i used bilge coat white and it looks very good-brand new actually-easy to clean and seems very solid-it was dull grey and crappy looking before-got the bilge coat at my local boat dealer.

I used brite white rustolem right out of the can. brushed it on. It's thick and covers great. It's oil based so it sticks real good since theres always a spot that the degreaser didn't get. Easy to touch up and its hard as nails so stepping on it dropping tools etc won't bother it too much, and it's cheap.

Get any color you want of rust-oleum at Home Depot (just bought a gallon for 30 bucks). And add a can of the stuff (14 bucks) and you will be all set.

follow the directions and just don't spray it unless you have the proper equipment or it just may kill you. lol

I used red RustOleum. Seems to be holding up pretty good. The only thing is that it seemed to take a long time to dry. I put it on really thick. 1 coat everyday for 4 days. I don't believe it completely dried between coats. I would still get red paint on my hands a month or 2 after I painted it. (The bilge was in this condition when I bought it)
I like the ease of touch up and it is only $9/Qt.

If you use the additive I posted it dries hard as gelcoat in about 20 min.

I will try that with my touch-up painting.
I just did a Google search on RustOleum boat painting and there is a ton of it. Some awesome looking results, and a few guys mention using this hardener. LOL
Thanks
