Got it, congrats on the sale.

Well that makes 2 of us,,so I know the market as well,,
the trick is to advertise ,,I did not know the boat was for sale until I saw this thread,,so the seller was not to serious until now...

I had plenty of GEN 2 F body T/As and Vettes most I am able to sell on my own,,the couple that I could not sell I took to a muscle car museum that I deal with and he advertises on more web sites than I could ever do,,and guess what,,he sells them and most of the time its at asking price ,,
I do the same with the boats and Harleys I play with as well,,
I know what the stuff is worth and I wait and get my money,,,they do sell..

I have had plenty of people come out and look at something that I am selling only to have them tell me I can only afford X amount of dollars,,,and I always ask them why are they here looking at something almost twice the price..

Right, but your using examples of twice the price under lowballs, that's different....

either way the market is saturated, and most don't have much cash on hand, that's all I am saying....

This is a fact! In my search for a clean 382 I Talked to a bunch of sellers and weeded out most of them with a 5 minute phone call. This will be a long term purchase for us, so I'd rather pay a few more bucks to get exactly what I want than settle for a perceived deal.
