Default Headers are leaking

Water is leaking from my headers where the acuator that controlls "silent choice" operation. Anyone know how to fix problem?( without buying new headers)

Mine did the same thing, so I got a rebuild kit from CMI for them. Not very expensive.

How old are your headers? Could be tome to pull them and get them pressure tested.

The boat is 2000 model I bought it last yr with the headers on it. They have leaked evr since I had the boat

Are they CMI's, any idea of hours on the headers?

Preassure check is a WHOLE lot cheaper than the alternative if you let them go.

Im pretty sure they are lightning headers no idea how many hrs on them only the starbord headers are leaking

Shoot me a pic if you can. It might just be a leaking bushing seal. Jan (Lightning) is only an hour and a half from us and will presure check older headers (or new). If they're not stainless headers it could be the first sign that they're letting go. Better to check than to loose a mill!
