The scx -4 drives you can't use the water pickups in the drives. There only for cooling of the drives. You have to run external pickups.

That's what I thought too. The one at the show had the water neck on the inside of the transom, I asked Imco about it and they said it was for engine cooling. I will double check today when they open.

I had to rebuild a upper..So my drive guy put that upper lower together/ done. Just have to switch the other lower. Splash plates should be here tomorow. Working 7 day's a week for 2 more weeks then I will test it. I think 2-4 mph to start w the same props. But I want to spin 34's eventually

Look sweet. After you put a few runs on them let me know if you see small pits in the skeg. I have some appearing. Porosity? Cavitation?

BTW IMCO told me to cap the water outlet on the inner transom plate and toss the outer hose.
