Default SCX 4's on a 35

Just ordered my imco scx4's from John Teague. thier going to send bottom's out next week to Craig Wilson for blueprinting. This will put my propshaft c/l about 1" above the bottom. Herring 5 blades. Be interesting to see what this does.

Nice! What year 35 is this going on? And what kind of power? Looking forward to your results!

It's a 2001 race hull. The motors are N/A 550 hp. With reg XR's and hydro p5x's it would run right at 90 @ 5500 rpm.

Are you going to run SSM style props on them or Bravo style?

SSM Herring wants to start out with a 17x30. Would like to turn the motors 6200 rpm.

Ok. Looks like you're shooting for 100+ mph with those Herings? Any motor upgrades?
