I had a 1998 27 fever with a hp500 carb and a b&m 250 pushin 3-4 lbs and it dynoed at 628 hp. I went from running a 26 four blade to a 30 four blade. Went from about 73mph to 84mph. The boat was always a little bit of a dog out of the hole but like he said above run the tabs down in and as soon as the nose comes down run the tabs back up.

I second that! Bury your tabs and drive it makes a big difference.
