Pneumatic Pump
I’m still looking for a slightly used pneumatic pump for my gaffrig mufflers. I missed out on a killer deal from rjcardinal. Since then I have looked all over and can’t find anything.
Anyone know of a good deal on a used pump & would like to hook me up?
thanks, dean

Re: Pneumatic Pump
I have successfully used a Honda Air Horn pump from a
touring bike as a replacement pump. In fact, I would think
that any air horn pump would work. Check out the auto
parts stores or truck supply houses as an option.
RE: 1991 29 Fever with HP465's and the Gil select system.
In fact, the Honda pump and bracket fit right onto the
plate in the Fountain where the solenoids and all this
stuff meets up. This plate also has enough room to mount
a variety of pumps.
If the cylinders are in good shape, the linkage is not binding,
the solenoid working and the hoses are tight, it does not take
much air pressure to activiate these systems.
Just food for thought!

Re: Pneumatic Pump
Dean - You're right - It was an awesome deal from rjcardinal. I'd apologize for beating you to it, except it was my thread...
By the way - If you need replacement pneumatic cylinders like CMI uses (# 41030 - $101.00), you can get precisely the same part from McMaster-Carr (#6498K523) for $19.23. (You have to provide the $1.85 air fitting, though...)
