It is a sort of sponge impregnated material with this super secret liquid that when opened and hung up in the open air, emits a vapor within a certain square foot area. Everything that the air can travel to, so can this vapor. It coats the surfaces of everything. Prevents rust and corrosion. I figure you can put it in your engine compartment to help on corrosion. It cant hurt?As long as it doesent leave a flim on anything?
