Re: ouch
Some of that damage must have occured during the salvage. Maybe they dragged the boat to shore instead of floating it up and towing it in????

I know I've launched off six footers in my old 89' 311, and all I got was a good "teeth jarring".
That looks like it got dropped off a very high bridge. |

Ouch is right! WTF? I can't believe how that boat just unzipped like that!

Re: ouch
I would of thought they would of at the very least used a lot of Plexius and through bolt the seam. I just see a little bit of the bonding goop and no through bolts.

Not impressed, I don't care what happened.

Re: ouch
notice how the glass seperated from the core...
Attached Images 39_3.jpg (61.2 KB, 22 views) Hard to believe a cored hull is as strong as a full layup. I've seen a lot of pictures showing seperation between the coring and whatever layup. ed |
Re: ouch
Should have bought an old Fountain. That would NEVER happen
Are they sure they didn't drop a cruiser ON it? |
Re: ouch
Appears to be more to the story, then the reader's Digest version on E-Bay. Can't believe all that damage came from hitting a cruiser wake. My old Formula could take more of a beating than your body could take.
