Cape Coral, FL HELP PLEASE!

HI Everyone! OSO member hugetime1 asked me to find out what I can for him about what happened to Ft. Myers/Cape Coral Fl. from Hurricane Wilma. He is traveling and has not been able to make contact with his tenants nor his friends. Can anyone provide any information that I may pass along to him?

Thanks,
Shane

Re: Cape Coral, FL HELP PLEASE!

A freind of mine rode out the storm in Cape Coral and didn't even lose power. My Dad has a house in Cape Coral, same thing only lost some shingles. He didn't stay but is heading back down today. Let me know if I can help anymore. Scott

Re: Cape Coral, FL HELP PLEASE!

My house is in southwest area. I'm in Jersey now but talked to my
neighbor who stayed and said damage was minimal.

I lost my screens on pool cage, my neighbor lost screens as well
and guy next to him lost entire two story cage.

Didn't lose any trees or roof tiles. I did lose about twenty tiles in
hurricane Charley as well as some large palms.

I guess it could have been worse......they did lose power

Charley hit from the south..this one had winds coming from the
north.

Shane!

I wrote Jason last week about going down there. I haven't heard from him since. I offered to check out his place myself. Let me know if no one can do it. I'll be glad to. PM me to get in touch.
