Baby asprian orange.

Big props take a little longer to get on plane but make up for it on top-end. Zero slippage.

Props never slipped when coming on plane. Engines stayed at 2200 rpm till the boat got up out of the water, then they started to climb. Even my wife could put this boat on plane, nothin to it. :D

Those are extremely impressive numbers for a 38 with 700's.

Very nice!

How are the new engines and drives... first impressions? Where were these pictures (Fox Lake)?

Are those the new Ace drives? If so, how was the water pressure at speed and during trimming?

Thanks, Ben

Re: Sunday Cruise at 115mph with stock power.

It was in the mid-upper 60's :( Memorial day weekend we had mid 90's and now we got this unexpected cold spell.
The engines ran incredible. Idle'd around 750ish, and in gear 650 ish. At 3000 rpm we were cruising about 60. 2500 rpm@ 50. 4000 @ 80, WOT we seen about 5500 @ 115. Funny thing is, we ran out of lake. It sure seemed to me that the boat was not done picking up speed. All this with the drives at #1 !!! Could'nt trim the drives, they were only out one #. Something about loosing water pressure in the lower pickup. I guess that's something they're still working on. We seen around 8-10 lbs. pressure while running, and around 2-3 at idle.
The props were 6 bladed Herrings, don't remember the pitch, could find out if you guys really need to know.

I bet after the final dial in by Fountain this boat will see even higher numbers. Dang, what a hull!
