I raced against both of them....and...drove boats built by both as well.

Billy was a better driver......Renato built a better boat.....though neither one could build an offshore boat worth a damn.

Billy won championships in Stock Outboard, Alky Outboard, Inboard Hydro, and Tunnel boats in a career that included over 1100 race wins (remember when Reggie won his 100th?)
all over the world. Billy even ran an Unlimited hydro for a while.(yeah, yeah, I know Renato ran in an Unlimited race once too...but that was in an outboard tunnel).

They are both incredible talents, but the nod goes to Mister Bill for the length and consistency of his career...and the variety of classes he competed in.

Mr. Bill is, was, and always will be.......The MAN.
