Default Best Location for Startup Business???

Hey Guys Im looking to get a building for my new business selling Adrenaline powerboats aswell as for my lift shop to install suspension lifts, performance accessores, wheels and tires etc. I have two options that Im looking at one in Corona at 1052 Railroad and Lincoln its a great looking building and then theres one in Anaheim on eagle and tustin. I have included two links one for each building and I want to see where you guys think I will do the best with my new business.

Not knowing the area at all I would go for the one that has the most traffic in front, or has a College close by or who ever you think you are going to draw your most clients for the car side of things. The boat people will be more willing to drive. Make sure that what ever location that you pick is going to be ok with your boat work such as glassing if you plan to do any production at the building.

Better yet... between them.

That way you can get first crack at Boyd's employees as they quit and go over to Foose.

Seriously, since your truck sales will be the impulse purchase part of the business, I would go park in front of each location for a few hours on a couple of different days. Take note of the type of vehicles and quantity. I'm sure you know who your customers are and what they drive.

Location, Location, Location..

Anaheim on eagle and tustin did not see the building however kind of know the area. Believe I'm correct in that Anaheim location offers easier freeway access. From experience when in the car biz my location with better freeway ease of getting to the place got more out of area people. The downtown shop we had was a little off the area freeway grid and seemed hard to get to. found alot of outside area potential customers cause of the extra effort would just say srew it!

Boyd Coddington does have rather high pricing. Last year while at a trade show (Anaheim Convention Center), needed some product from our distributors warehouse in La Habra area. Stopped to browse Coddington's showroom, they had a Intermeccanica replica Porchse speedster with Boyd wheels that sales guy offered a price of $75K for a car I can get new from Intermeccanica for under $38K CDN dollars......
