Re: Fountain New Kilo Record by Miami Show!
Shark, are you friends with the team? What does on the chip mean?
Thanks! Mike |
Re: Fountain New Kilo Record by Miami Show!
They are customers and yes I consider them friends too!
The engines are limited by their "chip" in the computer. Certainly not by the guys in the boat ! :drink: |

Here you had a Fountain sponsored event "The Worlds" with the best timing equipment money can buy, and the organization shows averages speeds almost 50 mph less than what is being advertised by the event's sponsor? You don't see that a bit conflicting? I guess it is what it is..... If they hit 170 in Key West it must have been a sight to see... ... Today's timing equipment is not advanced enough to accurately track Reggie's lightning speeds. :evilb: |

Over 170mph Is Serious Speed Who Ever Dials It In!

Re: Fountain New Kilo Record by Miami Show!
The fastest they went was on the leg out in the first race on Wed. maybe about 145 after that they were on cruise control. There is on easy way to check speed on the first lap because the start is on the out leg. If you look at timing for that lap you will see that was there best.

So I guess there must have been a few typographical errors in the FPB advertisement claiming 150 mph to 170 mph on the race course.... I personally do not think that is possible to do under race conditions no matter who it is.... |
