1/2 the video is people riding on the back of the seat, or engine cover while the boats are running.

Why is it hypocitrical? It would only be that if I didn't wear mine, and I always do. I figured that you didn't think you needed a vest at speed, so why would you need a lanyard?

Duke, you quoted me, and referenced the same video in which everyone was commenting on the chick on the back of the purple 37 A.T. sunpad. Nothing was referenced on the second video mentioned above in your post. Yes, again I agree on the amount of people siting or laying on sunpads while under way are dangerous, but while docked it is not a problem. As to the vest and lanyard, both are important, but I wont be a hypocrite or lie and say I always wear one. Lanyard always, never comes off till docked, BUT.. vest only when conditions where it is needed. Majority of the people also feel that way, evident on both video's. It's all about choice, and at the present time I will exercise my right. Have a good holiday, and have a few of :drink: Jeff

In the link that I posted there are probably 5 or 6 shots where the boats are moving way way above no wake with the idiots on the engine covers and on the platform. The original link in Post 1 only shows the girl on the hatch when the boat is stopped. I'm not sure if both video excerpts are from the same run, but they are both from a FPBC run.

That was a fun run in Sarasota in the ICW at maybe 30 MPH. Not making excuses just clarifying the incident, I have the full DVD showing the circumstances.

Duke if you watch the title listed with you tube it is the best of 2005 video compilation which includes the KWPR 05. I attended several of the events that year so I recognize the boats/ clips. For example the OSO Gladiator popping up in the inlet was the Land and Sea run in Oct 05, Bikini Girls with checkered bikini was Daytona 05. So when Scott was talking about the girls on the sunpad at the 2:40 mark that was the ICW at maybe 30 MPH, it was the Sunday fun run after the Long Labor Day event in Sarasota in Sept 05.
