really either way as long as they are the same. ( factory sbc vs. factory bbc ) ( or alum. manifolds ect.. ) I realize that if they both had factory cast iron that there would be a little bit of more a variation from aluminum manifolds. but I just wanted to get a basic comparison. thanks , Scott

hmmm..228 pounds x 2 motors..with sbc's you can take 4 hot chicks and a lot of beer, and be at the same weight as 2 bbc's.. now bbc's have there advantages..so do 4 hot chicks and beer...so you have to decide if yu want to haul azz or if you want to haul azz... :evilb:

if you're in that mind set, a bottle of tequila and a few shot glasses will even shave some more weight. :p

Small blocks can work great in the right boat. These are going in an old Cig we're re-rigging. The boat was originally rigged with them in a full stagger and ran in the low 80's with #2s'. They're now up to 700hp and a "better" drive.
