I had my Merc II transmission gone through when I bought the boat. I had it clearanced, and an extra clutch plate installed. I love my TRS. If you switch from a Merc II, to a B/W, you have to relocated the engine. It's one the 1982 22 Donzi.

The TRS drives were so good, that we raced with them in the open ocean on long races...... 100 plus miles...... and then used them the next day, to go cruising to the Bahamas.
Many teams raced for a couple of seasons without ever touching them.
Mel Riggs is another guy that is an expert with these drives, and will fix you up and get you running no matter what the problem is.
I still run them on my 28SS Cigarette with no problems at all.

Curious, whats the cost on the Konrad upgrade and is it a simple conversion for someone with some mechanic skills? Very interested in an older TG and would replace with Konrads if I lost one of the drives.

Cool. Now all I have to do is unload the 36Outlaw and pick up the Top Gun. Which I do think my Baja is far nicer than the TG I plan on doing what Tank did and update it.
