I've yet to hear someone say, "damn, I wish I had went with the black motors instead of the blue motors". Nice ride either way.

Well tell you the truth I would liek to stay in the 35 range due to storage towing etc...
When I was at GSC the other day they were telling me that from the cockpit to the bow is same lenght on the 35 as the 38ZR. The reason the 38 is 3'9 longer is due to the staggered motors.
How much more is the 525's to the 496's??
This boat will mostly stay out on Fox Lake and move to Lake Michigan for poker runs, parties, fun runs, etc..
Also Im worried about buying a brand new boat and taking a huge loss the first year..
Ive heard great things about Donzi

I may have missed it, but have you been in a 35 or 38 ZR? I really liked the Donzi until I climbed in the cabin. You cannot sit up straight on the coach in the ZR's......the ceiling is that low. If that type of cabin doesn't bother you, spend the extra $$$'s on the 525's and get the Donzi.

ZR sizes????
I don't want to rain on anyones parade but thats wrong the 38ZR is bigger not only in the back but the cabin is longer, wider and slightly higher.you can see the difference in the length of the seats and V berth, remember in actual size the 38 ZR is longer then 39 and has 2 inch wider beam. and the the 35 is around 36 in length. Both boats are great running boats. The 38ZR shines when it comes to rough water thats when Staggerd engines show there true colors she just launches and lands straight and were you really see the difference is over 100mph. Don't get me wrong I love the 35ZR she is a great boat, I own a 33ZX myself and have drove both the 35ZR and the 38ZR in many Poker Runs from 90mph to 115mph and they are one stable machine.
the 43' Donzi ZR is 42'10" long and has a 8'10" beam................just to clear things up.
