Boat dilemma
Here’s the problem I need some input. I have a 1984 Formula 272, with twin Merc 350’s and Gen 1 Alpha drives. It’s a great all around weekend boat but it’s red and old. Great cond. However, doubt I can sell it so I will keep it for the weekends. I do want some more performance out of it. Is it worth to swap the 350’s and get a set of 454’s ? I have a 454 in the infinity, so I’m thinking getting another 454 with bravo 1.s and swap the 454 from the Infinity, having 454’s in the Formula with bravos and installing one of the 350’s in the infinity and sell it. Sell the remaining 350. or just give it away for labor cost, and run the Formula until it dies. Does this makes any cense? Is it worth it? How much could this cost me ?
Any thoughts ? Thx

too much in my opinion. As far as engines, not too much of a problem. switching to Bravos = block off the Alpha transom holes, cut new Bravo style holes, plus your time or $ to pay someone to do it...
Change boat is my guess...
Not sure that is what you wanted to hear though...
