The Cig's/ Ocean hawks are the 01 Cig and 05 Ocean, the 05 has 275 Verados the 01 250 efi 2 strokes. The Concepts are all the same years more or less and a mix of 2 and 4 stroke power. Whatever one I buy is not going to be a fixer upper so hours will be low I don't want to have to rerig the whole boat, if I get a 2 stroke power boat I would sell the power and repower soon after buying.

More looking for input on the ride and function of the two, it seems the Concept has a little more room in front of the console with bigger seats, the Cig/Ocean has a nicer cabin But I will most likely never sleep in it. I don't fish much so fishing stuff don't matter.

verado swap is not just a switcheroo... depending on the platform mount at rigging and the lowers on the OBs it could get $$$$$$$$$$ plus the verado rerigg kit and the smart craft is like 4500.00

You don't have to run the smart craft and those funky throttles do you? I see them both ways or did they change it on the new ones ? Since I don't fish seems I don't need all those opps. you can get for trolling and stuff.

I have owned a 33/36 Concept, had it for over 5 seasons great boat, would buy another....best friend had a 99 Ocean Hawk 33 during the same period, nice boat, larger cabin and liked the ride better then my Concept, it felt a little more solid and rode more level... have two other guys at my marina with 33 Ocean Hawk's also, one with 300 Promax's and the other with Evinrude E-Tec's, the 300 boat runs right at 70MPH and the ETec boat is really set up fo fishing......

my .02!!!!!

not the throttles... just rigging, mounting and smartcraft brain and gauges

if the lower lengths dont match u need to swap lowers or remount transom bracket
