Nice

Anybody who is really considering a really light weight small block package, Hello! We have had Raylars available for two years now. Guess the depressed market is really the determiner now!
In any event, the Raylar LSM550 is here and for those curious, I am sure it is less expensive than if you tried to build the beautiful version that Tyler built here. My guess is this SB2 motor would cost about $40-$45K with the Nascar parts used and special items used plus the closed cooling it would need for long term safe operation. I might even be low on that guess.
If you've got the wallet, Tyler will beautifuly build you anything you need!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

Any performance reports yet on the LSM-550's sold last year? Would love to hear a report on twins in a 30ish footer V-hull like Tyler is doing.

Looks great and I bet it's nice having the extra room to work around and rigging compared to the typical twin big blocks. Looking forward to the results. Thanks.

Yes I mounted the tanks in the corners in front of the motors.
I have both engines in and I am waiting on some parts from Gaffrig to finish the boat this week. I plan on testing it this weekend.

Looks good!

I'd like to see you run a 502 with some heads and a bigger cam on your dyno.
