A lot of the single Fountains run LH props ... some of them tend to lean really hard to port while getting up on plane with RH props. Our 29 with a 575SCi leaned hard with a RH B1 prop. Didn't lean at all with the same pitch LH B1 prop.
In late 2000, I bought a brand new left over 2000 232 Rinker . While wiping it down after first time out on local lake, noticed that almost the whole boat had "spider cracked". Called Rinker and they said sorry, read your warranty, spider cracking of the gel is cosmetic and not covered.

I had the exact same problem with my custom ordered Blue boat (32 Fever). The white spots is white gel coat that was not cleaned from the mold prior to spraying in the black gel coat. Probably overspray from the mold next to it.
The only fix is to paint it.
As bad as that is for a new boat, if you saw how the structural components (stringers, bulkheads and coring) are put together, the gel coat flaws would mean nothing to you.

I bought it directly from the factory, and called them directly. I think it was either Randy or Terry Rinker that I talked to. Don't remember the name exactly any more. They sent me 1 pint of maroon colored gel and 1 pint of sand colored gel as a good will gesture, though. Not quite sure what they thought I was going to do with that, though ...
Back to the original poster's issue ... painted hullsides scare me bad enough, let alone the whole boat being some other base color than white. One "touch" against the dock, or anything else, and it leaves a (permanent) mark! I had one boat with painted sides, and even the Taylor Big B bumpers left permanent marks when a bunch of us rafted together.

Regarding your gelcoat problem then the only way forward I think is to paint it with a strong and durable paint like IMRON.
