If given the opportunity, I'd buy a 25' Active Thunder. Yes you will give up some cabin size to the Sonic, but the boat is very solid. Takes rough water very well for a 25'. I've driven my friend's boat many times and it's impressive.

The boat runs 76 mph on GPS with a 500 EFI.
