No one has proven to me what same size Fountain with stock power runs faster than the same size OL? Your 38 with 700's stock ran what 115? Thats what the stock SL41 does. The SV 43 runs 118-120 with stock 700's. Both those are huge compared to a 38 Fountain, no offense. I know your boat has run a great number with modified 700's!

I said Reggie does have the record and he made a great run at those speeds. All I said was Outerlimits has the capability to run those speeds. Everyone doesnt have to know everything. I hope as well as some other's that this Kilo record battle will come back. It was great to see Skater/Cigarette take a run at it.

You can swtich back and forth if you want to James. It ran a 115 stock and 118 with them upped. I was in it a couple of times.

SOME of you Fountain guys crack me up. You must have a real complex to compare current Fountain tech and speeds to 10 yr old Scarab tech and speeds.

If you go back with your Fountains those 10 yrs, things were a lot more comparable.

No arguement there, Reggie has it. But when every one is saying that if you want to go fast you can only do it in a Fountain in total BS, when the avg top speed of a normal Outerlimits pleasure boat is faster than 99% of Fountains out there.

I did not say that, what I meant was OL is aHigh priced custom builder

fountains are production

Not sure what you do for a living to be able to own a OL but I don't see fountain as being in the same price range

Fountain40icbm, no, Wild Child did not win all of the rough races, check the records and as far as a OL running 118 or better, I try to keep up on that sort of things and I have NEVER seen where one ran that speed no even 114 or 115. Tell me in what publication it was in so I can see for myself. As far as turned up, yes mine was turned up, but after taking the smaller pulleys off it still ran 121, took a long time to get there and still had the 5800 limiters on it, but 121 is, at least to me, pretty impressive.
