surface drive question
Does anyone know if there is any reason why a boat running two surface drives trimmed the same would have rooster tails of different sizes?

My 85 40' formula had Kaamas on it . It also had 2 different size roosters and one was straight up and the other turned in . I always thought it had something to do with the props but not sure. Usualy the bigger rooster is from more slip or higher trim setting .

Are you trim gauges in sync? The only time I had different size roster tails on my Kaama equiped Sutphen was when the drives were not trimmed the same or the boat was not running level, i.e. to much weight on one side. My props turned in. Which way do your props turn?

Guages may be off, but not enough to see with naked eye.
Boat doesn't seem to torque or slip in either direction.
Drives turn in.
Driver turns toward bikinis, and may sometimes slip in that direction when torqued.
