An e-bay auction or SCAM?
A couple days ago, I was bidding on a 'No Reserve' auction boat on e-bay. I was disappointed to find that I was second high bidder, lost it in the final seconds.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK:MEDWX:ITthe Now, I find that the sames boat is back on e-bay 2 days later, AGAIN, NO RESERVE!!!. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/28-Pa...item231224d70c Now the high bidder a couple days ago is listed as "1***1" under e-bays bidder protection but does carry a 371 feedback with 100% being positive. The high bidder sure seems to be a stand-up, great e-bayer with those numbers. But, with it listed again (2 days later), I wonder if that high bidder will get a negitive feedback for not following through with the deal?? Kinda makes you go HHHMMMMMM? http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/p...ats-worth.html |

Buyers can no longer get negative feedback. Even if they back out of the sale. However the buyer can still screw the seller by leaving them negative feedback.. Ebay, does a lot to protect the buyer, and pretty much bends the seller over....

Check out their completed listings. You can see the Pantera has been in several auctions with mixed results, and they are looking for a number around $53K.
They have several listings which have "sold" multiple times. They are playing the system, which eBay frowns upon very much so. |
eBay used to be fun. Not anymore.

This boat is listed in craigslist (south Florida) for $47900.
