Can't beat boost. Wanna see a wizard tuner?? Find one that's figured out a turbo system on his own and especially an odd ball application like this. Huge fan here.
You instantly learn the difference between a 2500 lb race car w/513 gears and a 5 speed and a 4500 lb boat w/a 1 speed. Hear guys talk smack all the time of what they're going to do in a boat application.
Stop that race car, put it in 5th gear, drop the clutch and stomp it.

Watch what the guys are doing w/turbos in the fastest street car classes. Perfect class for them being traction limited for a turbo to come on soft to keep from blowing the tires off then hold on.

Hey Guys.....Again thanks for all the support...gotta admit its been tuff...but the rewards from LOTO made it all worth it and the support and great comments from everyone here at OSO...

Regarding the surging, yes there is an option of boost by speed or rpm...the only reason I havnt elected to use that is, if you guys feel the way this thing accelerates when I hit the throttle would blow ur minds, mainly cause its turbo and such a small cu in'd engine....im working on a couple ideas before I regulate boost at low rpm to see if I can alleviate it some...

Yes it does run a wastegate, actually runs a new 44mm Tial watercooled head wastegate....

The problem with trying to run a sequential, twin or stacked turbo set up is the plumbing...Heat is a huge problem, aside from all the water cooled pipes that would have to be made....im already pulling my hair, couldnt even imagine with 2 turbos...trying to keep it simple...so that your everyday person can jump in and drive it and I say where about 80% there...Thats why I dont incorporate nitrous...

You know im not trying to say by any means this import engine is superior to any domestic motor...this is just 1 of the best and strongest 6 cylinders for the cu in's ive seen....it takes a beating...its the original engine since I started the project...amazing the abuse it takes....

The gelcoat scheme was smthing I kind of drew up and Eliminator basically took it and improved on it...the colors are colors Ive always enjoyed...I actually owned a drag car that kinda shared the same colors...

Is that a vent tube I see on the drive? Does the boat require that to get up on top with that prop?

Yes it is a vent tube...same basic concept as they use on the #6 drives....

And yes the engine surprises everyone...1st off by the 1 exhaust pipe...the funniest thing was when we went to get the Boat tech'd in LOTO.....as soon as I opened the hatch, the tech official looked at me and I looked at him and he said "what the hell am I suppose to do with that" and I said "I dont know, i guess Tech it" and we both Laughed!!! And then he replied with "What the hell is it".... definitely one to remember...

Brendan, how did the boat feel at 117/118mph ?... Does the 25 feel stable at that speed ?...

Hey PokerRun388!!! The boat handled well...even when I made a slight turn and it got a little bumpy I had no intentions of letting off....Cant wait too see what it feels like at more speed!!

Sounds Good, But Brendan, remember, its going to be hard to beat the all time speed record, in a 25 daytona, Bob Teague, 144mph, 2002.... I think you can do it, ok, maybe just get in the 120s first... hahahaha, just kidding... Your boat looks great.., look forward to more videos soon!
