No, there's no certain noise level we would like to meet, just be a littlbe bit more quiet, without harming the engines.

I've had GGB's for a few years now and they work very well. They meet our 90db noise requirment down at the lake. The only sad thing is most 525 boats are quite a bit louder, I miss the sound but not the tickets...lol
