We would launch at Northpoint or if the water is iffy...whatever is close. That weekend sounds good. Then meet for the airshow as well.

10th or 11th sounds good. There is usually not a problem to dock/raft at Racine near the launch. The have a very long public dock.

Anyone going downtown for Venitian Night on Saturday?

If you guys come to St. Joseph, "the wall" that 32Fever is speaking of is on the right side of the river as you're coming in and just after you pass by the train tressel bridg---just look for the big St. Joseph water tower and "the wall" is across the river from there---you can't miss it. There are several places you can tie up there. If you want to go to Barney's Boat House resturaunt a bunch of you other boater and their crew will have to hop in a coulple of boats and head up river to Barney's because he only has about 4-5 slips. You can do it that way or go to one of the other resturaunts that 32 Fever is speaking of.
Anyway, whatever you guys decide to do I sure would like meeting up with you. My boat should be running perhaps by next week or so---I think.

I may be up for St. Joe as well. We spend alot of time in South Haven and its a short ride from there. Ill try and work that in. For airshow, depends on weather for me. Has anyone used any of the rampd north of the city recently? I know there are some small ones ie. Evanston, Winnetka, etc. Two years ago I used Winnetka, very shallow. When we came in, the waves (decent rollers) were rolling into the ramp area. My boat was bouncing up and down on the trailer...luckily no damage. Id like to find a decent ramp within 20 miles of the airshow. Alsip is just plain nutz. Too many drunk boaters and a long ride.

We could launch out of Northpoint on any of those days. Sounds like fun. Tracy and I were also talking about catching the Air Show before we headed down to LOTO.
