Thanks for the info. sounds simple enough. You happen to know if there's any shallow areas to watch out for around the Marina?

Steve, I believe Laketon turns into Lakeshore Drive at the top of the hill where you can see over Muskegon lake (it's a no brainer, just keep driving!!). Great Lakes is at the bottom of the hill after you make the slight curve/change road names. The ramp is about 200 yds further on your right. As for the marina, STAY BETWEEN THE MARKERS!!! Going in, and going out of the marina you HAVE to stay in the channel that is dredged (it's plenty deep between the markers, 2' or less outside them!!!) It's well marked so you should have no issues. When you back off the ramp, turn your transom towards the marina to turn around, it's deeper that way.

I'll be up there around 6:00 or so. Running up from Grand Haven (privided it's not real rough out on the lake). BGIII (Bill) is also running up with me. And Jafo will be at the marina with both his boats. Friend of mine is looking at his Formula to possibly purchase. Test driving it tonight.

Mike

like Mike said keep between the markers and you got no worries! GreatLakes owns the dredging company !!!I used the launch several times this year no problems! Use the center of the ramp if you can.....its a little shallower on the ends but I got out fine!(31 Sonic).Sorry I wont be in town for the madness get'n a little to old for that stuff!I'm leaving for Traverse City at 5:00!!! or I would show you around!
