Crash at Lake Cumberland?

I think it would be very nice to have memorial decals made, to honor Jeff and Brad to display on our boats. Just like how decals were made for Big Thunder racing, or member "High Life".
I, for sure would buy one.
Again, RIP

You could also donate the money to the families.

I think that's a great idea. I also think a memorial cruise/gathering has to be done on Grand and LOTO with plenty of Smith power on hand as a dedication and, quite honestly, time to heal. I think that those closer to Brad would have the best perspective on those ideas and hopefully they'll chime in at some point.

Yes. Ive mentioned it on facebook about a gathering on Grand Lake i think Brad wouldve loved it. Maybe a Smith Power Dam Run..?? Something in his honor, he has put alot of power in boats on Grand Lake.. And a salute to him & his family and Krissy from everybody with a couple nice long Smith Power hi engine revvs would be amazing i think.. Rite out in front of the cove of Krissys family lakehouse where they all can watch and hear it..!!!

Unbelievable loss. I didn't know Jeff but Brad was the most honest and genuine man I have ever met. The boating community has lost an innovator and an icon in the sport. Very honored and proud to say that the heart and soul of my machine are the work of Smith Power...

It's all in the works from a cruise on grand to decals for boats, trucks, rigs, etc. Theres a group putting things together for the families we will all be notified so we can all pay our most respect to these 2 great men.

My wife was sickened by the news when I broke it to her Sunday morning. I recommended Brad to a friend of mine to get his 500 EFI's built up a couple years ago based on feedback from OSO. As we were watching the boats come in to Big Dick's Friday of the LOTO Shootout, Jeff's Skater along with the all white Skater caught her eye. When Brad and crew walked up she commented on how well she like their Smith Power shirts. We stopped Brad and had a short chat with him about my buddy's boat, the Skaters, and I told him my wife loved his shirts. Not knowing us from Sam he told my wife he had plenty of shirts back at the hotel at Camden On The Lake and if we dropped by he would set her up. My wife really got a kick out of seeing Jeff's boat and the white boat go past us at speed as we were running to Captain Ron's after Dick's. I really appreciated how one little gesture towards complete strangers made my wife's weekend more enjoyable (she's really not much of a performance boat fan but became more of one that day...her first Shootout). Just a small story on the kind of guy Brad was. My wife and I were glad to have met him. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of both Jeff and Brad.
