Good feedback....keep it coming!

Now as someone pointed out since the race carries Don Aronow's name, we have to make sure it is a real challenge and hard to win....just like it was when he tried to win it years ago...but came in second!

As we said we are working with a big potential sponsor. We are trying to show them the numbers of boats involved will be enough to put on a good race. And we are exploring TV coverage. TV is totally different today than when we raced years ago, so we have more than a few options to explore.

How about sponsors? Beside a big name series sponsor....because that is what our final aim here is....a real open ocean racing series. We want to have 5 to 6 races a year with the small boats running a 100 mile course and the big boats running a 200 mile course. And once a year, we have a spectacular 271 mile race right in Metro NY.

Sponsers we would, like to hear from you. XYZ company can sponsor the first boat to Montauk checkpoint for $500 or the ABC company can sponsor the first outboard to finish with a $300 gift card for.......

You get the idea, this is how the sport started.....here is a chance to pay back to the sport that helped you grow your business to where it is today. We are open to ideas...how would you, like to be a sponsor?

LMAO.. Mr. Banana !! I'm sponsoring my own boat, which ever I will run. But IT WILL BE A BANANA hull. 33' or 38' It's in the works. And you are welcomed to sponsor one of these awesome hulls any time you wish. Just kidding, but for whatever reason, if I can't make it, I will sponsor for $500.00 under CCS Inc. (not that I do a lot of work around NY. lol )

We are almost at 15,000 views since the end of October.

Let's have another roll call split three ways.

1.). OK I am in and I will be there. Boat info: Length and power.

2.). Hey this sounds interesting and I always wanted to do this, so if it all works, I will enter. Boat length and power

3.) I want to enter, but my mother in law wouldn't let me use my boat to race or have fun!! Picture of your mother in law.......

So what is your number?

BTW....Where are the Betty Cook's of the modern era or the Jacoby girls of the 60's? There must be some gals out there who want to show the, guys how it is done.

I'm in also ! 28 Magnum , single big BBC , or 38 Seahawk , BBC's 650 HP ea. Waiting for the rules to firm up a bit to make decision. Originally planned to run Historic class , but will run where ever it makes sense. . 99.9%.

I'm totally in. Will be interested as we'll for sponsoring the event or some sort of prize for X amount of money. Not sure what boat, maybe my top gun with 700's or depending on the rules we'll build a diff boat like a 28 magnum or something of the sorts. Just need to check the dates. It's very close to loto shoot out week that could be the only down fall.
