Hitting this again to see whats new and any fix for it plus any head way on other app you have been following on RD site..

Boat is still at the the builders.
They are waiting on Mercury to come up with a new elbow to help the cooling .
What Merc has will not work on the setup .Just a basic set up 4" exhaust above water line .
It is all on the mercury to come up with a or solution .
The Mercury Rep. been down there a few times from what I was told.

So when they started putting cats on ski boats a few years ago, we had a tournment team mastercraft that got so hot it literally melted flexible exhaust hose off.
