did anyone ever try and rebuild Asbell's Skater?

As Larry said i know it's tucked away in one of their building but if it was me, it would have been rebuilt by now and enjoying it the way my family member would be and would want me to. Race in Peace you two . Missed by many.

This is not direct comparison however, the boys who's father/uncle raced the Still Crazy Velocity brought the boat back to life and did an amazing job of restoration, however, the boat was not involved in any accident that took anyone's life. Their father/uncle was killed racing another boat long after racing the Velocity...There was alot of pride and family questions to be resolved but when all was said and done everyone was proud of the boat.
