[QUOTE=Jimmyk;4472147]Yea, I love the looks and reported speed! I know I will need to travel to get a Nordic(any boat really) but I'm willing for the right boat.

My boating will only be done in the upstate NY, finger lakes region. Keuke(pfff 45 speed limit), Seneca(largest and closest to me) and Cayuga(Ithaca NY, odd people!). All are really great lakes but Seneca is my main lake and it can get fairly rough if the weather gets crappy or there is a strong wind.

Checkmate made some mid cabin 27's not easy to find but we're a cool setup and good construction.

JimmyK,

Send BradmanVA a PM...He's got a 2007 Donzi ZXO with twin 6.2 motors...I know this boat first hand and its perfect...very close friend. I know with new kid on the way he' looking to let it go. You can also contact Harbor Marine at 757-961-9411 to get details of it. This might be the perfect fit for you and your family.

The OP is keeping tight lipped about the budget....... Any idea how much you want to spend? You started looking at 'free' so anything is an increase. Give us a range, say up to 20k or 20-30k or 30-40k...... You'll get lots of good ideas here but without a clue on $$$, it's a bit hard.

If you are refering to me, yes free would be great. Im just looking for a good project boat to work on and keep me busy during the days to come. Im not rich by ANY means, in fact im on disability so not much room to play with and we also just biught a new house, so FREE is for me right now. I have a 60 comet project car the I would trade for a boat along with some good OMC parts if anyine is interested. Let me know if something comes about, in fact, it doesnt even need a trailer but would need one to deliver it to the house, I can get stands for it.

Nice boat. I had a 26 ft convincor but it was a ***** for me at the docks because it had such a narrow beam, single drive.

99% sure that boat was kept in Central Florida for years. I can't think of the guys name that owned it but he hung out with a guy named Jack that also had a 288 closed deck.

Im no legal expert, nor do I play one on TV... But Im guessing that being on disability, If somebody catches you doing major rehab on a boat for fun and excitment, well the disability check writing people may not be very happy....

Again I don't know your particular situation, just dont want to see you become datelines feature of the week.......
