Just received and watched the 2002SOTW video yesterday. So far I've sat and watched it 4 times, best money I've spent in a long time.It should help winter pass quicker.
In one of the other threads you were asking for any feedback, this may have been mentioned before, but the only thing I think that could of made it better would of been more sounds from the engines(which is a great part of the experience),a few more interviews, and more shots of the boats at the docks.
Unfortunately becauese of finances, there is no way I can join the run for 2003.However if you need any volunteer help please contact me.
However for 2004's run ,I've already put the entry fee aside and will be joining in.I will be retiring June 1st of 04 and this is my retirement gift to myself.
I thought your retirement gift would be something Black, and Thunderous.
I'm going to send for one, too. Just ordered all the Poker Runs America videos, too. It's like a disease.......
Happy Thinksgiving to you both!
Hey,How ya been????If the right USED Thunder comes along(meaning price & condition)just maybe I might get 2 presents Otherwise I'm fairly happy with what I have, and just might do some engine upgrades in the future.
I think you'll enjoy the SOTW video, there's only a couple shots of boats catching air,but still some incredible rigs....And you're right ,it is like a disease or addiction, but I hope i never get cured
Hope you and your family have a safe and happy Thanksgiving...
Almost forgot.......Between this site and the other one,it looks like you might be changing rides.....so spill it,what you thinking about getting
Well, Steve, see, it's not really me. Of course, I'm perfecty content where we are. It's Ericka that wants to go faster, get a bigger boat, have the comforts, and wants to spend more money.
Actually, she has given the green light on upgrading. I'm just taking my time and doing my research. Don't want to spend the kind of money that boats cost (or any kind for that matter) and regret it later.
Although, I'm anxious to be able to get back to sleeping at night!!!!
Damn Mark, you sure you're not running for a political office,Not only do you try to shift the blame, but you also sidestepped the question
Good luck in your search...just try to find something that runs less than 73mph
