Well i guess i could help you with that decision. As JB said i am selling my small cat because of space and it was a bit bumpy in the rough but up to 3 footers my 2600 ao was awesome. And yes it was true that not many people wanted to ride wich ok too. I am going back to a bigger V bottom for 2 reasons, Cabin and cost. I would love to own a 377 Hustler Talon that would be the perfect boat for me but cost will keep that out of my range.

we used to have a 23 foot stingray with a 502 in it. but then we decided to get a cat because it was to rough so now we have a 2600 nsx american offshore and we like it alot so i would go with the cat.

Outbored cats are going to go faster but I have to have a Big Block V Bottom. But what do I know I ride a Harley. I'm going to go make some popcorn. It,s a Personal choice thing. |

If it's speed the cat, hands down.
If you ride the ocean, I'd go with the Vee. (Cig, Apache, or OL. They're all brick chit houses.) |
cat or vee
lets say we had 250 days to boat last year out of those days 22 days were to roough for the cat but the other 228 days were perfect for the cat and went by the vees all day long with less fuel so you do the math and choose have fun and remember skaters rule:cool:
