Drive locks

My insurance company says I have to put drive locks on or the deductable is double. I bought them, but do they really work? I used to own a car dealership and often got posrche's that had the lug nut locks without the key. I got so good at taking them off I could do all four wheels in less than two minutes.

I think it isnt to hard to get off.... Put them on, there harder than regular ones, plus insurance is chaper. They can only make so many designs and shapes of a key, so someone somewhere has a match to your key...

I have them, but it looks to me like you could just drive a nail into them and wedge the outside cylinder then use vise grips to remove the nut. I think the idea is its a deterent. If someone wants your drive they'll get it regardless.

Thanks, that is what I thought. I'll keep my receipt for the purchase just in case I need to make a claim.

Locks are great.............but one thing. The key is never where you thought you put it. And when you are sure where it'sw at...........it's not the right one. I had them........but never had the key when I needed it.
Go ahead and buy them................you will not be lying when you say you have them.......)

That's what I thought of doing Hyper but don't want to lose my keys and lock keys because everything is too heavy for the floats. I'm pretty anal, so I'll just put the lock keys in my boat file.
