You guys might want to call the Marina. As of about 1 hour ago we were told no boats over 36' will be allowed to launch even though the water level appears to up according to the charts. I know alot of people are heading out tonight and may be suprised to find this out when they get there.

We asked the manager at the Marina about the poker run and he said he did not care. He said they could go to Windsor, which you know is a short unprotected ramp. The Marina has been a problem since the new owners took over. I hope things will work out.

Yea the new owners of the Marina are a bunch of A holes. I am banned from there because a company with a similiar name put stickers up there last year. I went to launch there and was told to leave and never come back. I tried to explian that I was not affiliated with the other company in anyway. He said he didnot care. And as I was leaving he yells out I cannot even buy gas there! What ever. Does anyone know of launching restrictions at Site 6?

There are no launching restrictions at site six but it is shallow and you may not be able to get your trailer around the corner of the launch circle. You can back straight down the ramp if there is no line but I would not attempt it if there is a line, people have been know to beat down pretty bad at that ramp for less.
I know there must be boats over 38 feet launching somewhere so I'm taking the chance.

I would not even think of launching a large boat at site 6. It is also a very steep ramp as well. As stated above the crowd can also be a problem.

If you are really hard pressed to launch a big boat, you could make the one hour drive to our place on the west side of the lake. Theres plenty of room to park your rig for the day. It's called Havasu Landing Resort and Casino.

Default Just Got Back

We just got back from Havasu. Everyone was able to launch and make it to the run. We had 223 boats register and safely participate in the run. Great job everyone and thanks for the great show
