Hey I don't know the dealer from adam but some of these comments are unreal ! no wonder a dealer is supose to have so many trick with people taking advantage of what I hope is a true honest mistake ,someone said if it was a indivual they would feel different ,well my brother owns a dealership and ultimatly it would be taking from him and he would have to pass along the loss to others or in some way recoup the loss.
noone I know would even wildly dream a GMC equiped exactly the same as a chey would be 9k less come on ??
I'm trying to be the other side of the fence
There is in our state a truth in advertising law as in many others that is a criminal offese to brake, if he cured the error be cool and work with him ,,what goes around comes around in life ,,,just my view who cares ??

They wont need to make up the loss on another person, they already do that. When you get people paying sticker plus dealer kick backs plus selling options for 300% or more over their cost they are making plenty.

The first truck i bought from my dealer, i bought through a friend that was the fleet manager at the time. He showed me the real price they payed for options such as bed liners, teflon ect... as well as the kickbacks they get. I was amazed at the mark-up on some of this stuff.

All I know is I work at a dealer and I still hate going to other dealers car shopping with people because of the overwhelming feeling of being surrounded by crooks, and cheats, and liars.

The options are where they make their money and it is and insane amount but they can get it from un educated consumers
