I just bought a '03 GMC2500HD slt with the duramax & allison trans. I pull a 25' stamos or a skater 18 and the truck still drives like a sports car. It gets about 15.5 mpg around town and about 18.5 on the hwy. I had a Gmc '98 2500 with the 7.4L and got on average 8.5 mpg. That equals about 175-210 miles per tank compared to 390-420 per tank and diesel is about 10 to 15 cents a gal. less on Long Island. You do the math. Plus , I got $11,000 off the sticker with all the rebates. This truck kicks ass, can't wait to chip it.

I'm towing my new 28' Nordic Heat with my custom 99 Ford Lightning. It's got 425 hp, and 475 ft lbs of torque. No problems getting up to speed, and maintaining.

Wouldn't want to walk across that bow!!!!:eek:
