Thumbs up Project Thoroughbred

The Thoroughbred that was at the Jacksonville poker run, and also the Smith Mountain Lake Poker Run is currently undergoing a major overhaul. This is one of the boats that is pictured in the Fastest conventional V bottom thread also. It has always been a very fast single engine V bottom but the owner Gary W is looking to go faster and look a little more modern. Gary you have got a lot of work ahead of you.

After seeing the close up I see it's not my old boat...sure does bring back memories though. I remember cutting out for a glovebox thru that aluminum panel and the deck at once with a jigsaw Plus many other projects large and small, including keeping the engine repaired with 7.5 lbs. of boost and 5600 RPM and no innercooler Good luck to him with the restovation!
