My 8 year old drives my 32" with blowers!!!!

29 is a great boat and will go pretty fast with base engines. You can always upgrade later.

Just don't spend beyond your means. Nothing worse then not having the money to enjoy the huge toy you just boat.

Go BIG,
but take a very carefull look at the stringers on the 29 Baja. They have had problems in the past. If you are not looking for somthing to run on the edge in big water that it is a decent boat for the $. If you are looking to run hard in big water look for a Cig, Pantera, Warlock, Sonic, AT, etc...

I am looking to run hard in the Pacific Ocean (trying to keep up with Tank!:D ). How would you check the stringers? Aren't they encased in fiberglass?

What other potential problems would you forsee?
