buying and selling on line? pros and cons
Just had a draining experiance selling motors on oso classifeds.
This WAS NOT a problem with oso, but, with the guy from California who purchased the motors from us.
Was it just this one jerk waiting till the last minute to part with his money after getting a deal of a life time?
Or are all on line sales this difficult?
HOW FAR IS TOO FAR!!!
Should you leak down, compression check , box up and transport 2 motors to a shipping company before you get any money?
Duhh?!
We have learned our lesson.
But how can you keep all parties happy and not screw your self?
Most pay up front but what if they refuse?
Any suggestions for the next time I attempt to sell on line?

I have had zero problems selling and buying from here. I tend to deal with the people that have been on here for awhile.

Well, I think that if you do your homework as a buyer or seller you can limit your exposure... But there is always a risk. I just bought a motor from OSO classifieds, sent him a check for the full amount. Hope to have the motor next weekend !!
