The TV guys said they already had the trophy in the Cubs clubhouse, and the champagne was ready!

The Federal Witness Protection Program called and said they couldn't guarantee this poor guy's safety.

If I remember correctly, they ended up walking the guy. If the pitcher would have sacked up and struck him out, it wouldn't be an issue. I didn't see any fan interfere with the shortstop when he booted the easy grounder. I didn't see the fan give up any walks or gopher balls either.

PS, I'm pulling for the Cubs!

i feel sorry for the guy...i mean, do you think he intentionally meant to f$^K that play up? hes probably feeling pretty crappy right now and hopefully none of the hardcore fans have found out where he lives, cause i sure wouldn't want to be him...

bottom line is this game was lost by the cubbies...they squandered opportunities and their defens was less than World Championship material.
well said!
go cubs!!!!

Things are looking real bad for this guy right now. &th inning and Cubs are down 7 to 5. I don't think it was this guy's fault but then again I'm not a Cubs fan. BTW, I don't want to be anywhere near any foul balls, I gave up a free Yankees ticket today.
