24 FOR PLAYERS ON THE CUBS TEAM AND KNOWONE TAKES THE BLAME BUT THE FAN WITH THAT DID
SOMETHING THAT FANS HAVE BEEN DOING FOR
DECADES.THE MOST PRIDE POSITION FOR A FAN
IS TO GET A BASEBALL NO MATTER WHAT. IT IS
DREAM FOR MANY PEOPLE,WHEN A FOUL BALL IS
HIT THE ONLY PERSON LOOKING FOR THE FENCES
IS THE BASBALL PLAYER THEMSELVES TO NOT RUN
INTO THE WALL.HOWEVER YEARS AGO IN A MONDAY
NIGHT GAME AT GREEN BAY A GUY FELL WHILE TRYING
TO GET AN EXTRA POINT.FANS HAVE AS MUCH RIGHT
TO GET A FOUL BALL AS MUCH AS PLAYER DOES.
THE CUBS ARE YELLOW AND THE MARLINS SPANKED THEM 1-2-3

This is exactly why I am so glad the Cubs are done. Everyone blames a fan for losing the series. IT seems that everyone has forgotten that Alex Rod. booted a routine double-play ball that would have ended the inning. Lets not blame Alex for the boot, lets blame some fan for interferring with a foul ball that MAY HAVE BEEN CAUGHT. What a joke. It couldn't have happened to a better group of fans.

mpally, i think everyone just got caught up in the heat of the moment about the fan interfearing. Its not every year that Chicago gets this far in the season and people just got a bit crazy with all of it. Can you blame them though? Not having won a world series in close to 100 years and the last time even being in one was 1945! How many other teams have that kind of streak? I'm not trying to change your mind or defend the cubs in any way.......i'm not a baseball fan at all and to be honest this series was the first time i actually sat watched an entire game!!! All i'm saying is that people got a bit over zealous and it got the best of them at that moment........give it a few days and the guy will be forgotten soon enough.

Get the number of the Cubs shortstop that booted the ball that should have been a double play He is one of the players that cost them the game. NOT THE FAN!!! The shortstop is the real goat.
Maybe Sammy should have corked his bat again.
This is kind of like the St Louis fans that blame the 85 series loss to the Royals on a bad call (which was the right call btw) in game 6. They just lost their composure and the better coached and more mature athletes won the series.
The FAN should sue the newspaper and other media for endangering his life.
Its Only a Game.

Can you say CHOKE? Just like the Red Sox did.

There is more psychology involved in sports than most give credit. All it takes is one bad play to totally ruin the psycology of the team and everything heads down hill. All professional teams have several psycologists on staff for the team. The fan may or may not have gotten the bad mojo flowing.
