That one cost me $2600.00, custom made in Florida, where I purchased the boat. At the Miami Boat Show 4 years ago

That's why I were Spf 50 sunscreen liberally applied. Besides, I don't see the skin cancer killing me before this three pack a day habit of mine.:(

Kanookstr has these latches on his boat and top and they look great and will not snag you whenyou go by. They are available from Eddie Marine and also at Cabella's with a round adapter to attach to tubes if the cotter pin system does not work.

I wear sunscreen as well, but in havasu you spend a lot of time in the water. I don't feel like having to re-apply the stuff every hour. My Doc said either stay out of the sun, or re-apply everytime you get out of the water.:(

I ordered a Bimini over the weekend. Similar to Nort's, all 1" stainless custom made to fit the boat. I was told it would be good to about 75 mph.

75 MPH better get that in writting that seems fast with a top. Most I have heard was 40 mph max but what do I know.
You might want to consider a homing beacon for it also it will be easier to find at the bottom of the lake with it. :D:D:D

After seeing Glh in Miami, I'm awarding him a special one time only Bimini Exemption Status. He needed it!:D

He said if I went with straps that it would only by good to about 35 mph, If I went with all aluminum about 45-50, but with the 1" stainless 70-75 mph.

He has built a few so hopefully he know what he is talking about. If not the other 1/2 will be jumping in the water trying to save it.:D
