I'll be willing to bet the boat right now is very close to where it was stolen.... The hull will probably resurface with all the hardware removed.... or... like previously stated... if it makes it to Central America... it's toast..Mexico has similar problems... people have had their cars "seized" because of something silly... later when they go to retrieve their car... they are told it is "gone"... then later it is seen being driven by the town's chief of police.. or the mayor... typical corrupt behavior..

WOW I can't believe how incredibly bold that is. Towing around a piece of eye candy like that, I mean there is no chance if this thing is on the road that it would not be seen. F'in hang the F@#$kers.

I can't believe this how the hell do you even come up with an idea like this. My bet is they are pros and have done this kind of thing before.

If you guys think keeping a boat out of sight is tough a couple of years ago people stole a 150 ft ferris wheel from the fair grounds, 15 brand new john deere lawn tractors, a brand new 30 ft stake body lumber truck and a huge 8 wheel JD tractor..... and they never were seen again.... this was all in the same night.

Just like in drug running, its probably some low IQ guys that are being paid 10,000 each to make it to / show up at a certain port.

so what you are saying is that the boat could be taken to a location , set up on the proper angle , build a mobile home shell around it ,and run it down the road?? that's whack

Sorry to hear about the theft.

If I was to guess ....the thieves were stealing it for drug running. Who knows.

I bet if the feds were on the case they could track down all MTI 40 footers with new #6 drives and start from there.

Of course I hope they're caught before that is needed.

Bastards!

It is roughly 20 hrs. to the closest port. I don't think it is leaving the state. How the hell did they tow it around at 5:30 a.m. and not get stopped by the cops? I thiought you can't tow over-sized loads after dark.

My guess is that it is still close to the location where it was taken from. My thoughts would be that it is pros and it is definitely being prepped to ship out of the country. How do you get out of the country? Well did anyone evr think of this.....Cut the boat in half down the tunnel and when it reaches its destination it will be put back together.....just a thought.

Sean

PS I saw a cat on the road but unfortunately it was a Skater but matched the desription right down to the open cockpit. Sorry Randy.
