Angry Attn: Stolen 42 Mti

Randy Scism just asked me to post this. Between 9pm and 9am last night (Saturday 27th), a brand new 42 MTI was stolen from Marine Technology, Inc. If anyone has any information or has seen this boat heading south, please call Randy on his cell at 314-277-4000. The boat is extremely large and visible and has an orange, silver and blue paint job with painted rivets. Boat was located at his shop just outside of St. Louis.

If you need any other info, you can call me at 216.233.8474.

Josh: H2O Performance

WTF! It's not like you can hide something like that in your garage. That's a major deal. Was it finished or being built?

yeah this is the same boat that was at the miami boat show. definaltely not something that can be hidden easily. randy thinks the boat is on the way down south, so he is hoping someone sees it on the road, which shouldnt be too easy to miss. please call if you have any info. thanks

I agree.... you can add lojack or teletrac to your boat... find out where it is anywhere... I know my next boat is going to be so equiped.

I saw this boat this morning heading from St.Charles to chesterfield at 5:30am, it was beutifull.

I have already contacted Randy Scism and he is letting the police know.

Good luck Randy

I doubt anybody is stupid enough to steal such a recognisable, custom boat for their own joyriding... Looks like somebody really, really liked the boat during the boat show and decided to have it without letting you know beforehand... Somebody whose funny behaviour you may have noticed during the show? Just a tought... The upside of that possibility is the fact that they probably won't break it down for parts.

In any case, I sincerely hope you recover it in A1 shape.

When I read this post I thought of you. I guess the trip took a little longer than you thought. Good to see you made it home safe. I hope your lead helps find this boat!

I saw it an hour ago heading south on I-275 in St. Pete, FL.

Being pulled by a matching truck.

I just got a call from a MO cop about the boat.

He says the stolen one is a pleasure version with no canopies. The boat I saw had a center canopy, so it's probably not the same one.

In fact, my first reaction when I saw it was that it must Billy Mauff's new Skater.

The officer is FAXing me a picture, so I'll soon know.

Anybody know where Billy's new boat is?
