Featherlite's answer was "send it back to the factory." Not acceptable. The Mrs called Reliable Carriers, 46tomcat's company, and they helped her out big time. She said they were the nicest folks and made sure she got in touch with the company that builds Reliable's trailers. And all just for someone that called up out of the blue.

I was going to suggest contacting Tom at Reliable. He is a TRUE CLASS ACT! Not to mention one of hte NICEST guys in High Perf boating I have ever met. He now has a trailer manufacturing company. Glad he helped you out. I KNEW he would!

I sent Tom an e-mail, but haven't heard back. My wife knew that he owned both Tomcat and Reliable, so she gave them a call; they bent over backward for her, even though they had nothing to gain from it. In my experience, that kind of attitude starts at the top - kudos to Tom and his organization!
